I would say this coloring book would be for someone in their teens or an adult, as there are some intricate designs in it.The artist does have a little difficulty getting her male models well-proportioned--and quite a few of them came off looking as if their legs were too short for their bodies.However, the women are very attractively drawn and their fashions, are very well done, beautiful and intricate. While the men themselves were sometimes not as well drawn, their fashions were well done and interesting.My only complaint is that this artist has a tendency to want to do some of her designs on the clothes in dotted lines, rather then solid lines--and I found that made it difficult to determine the actual outline of the design and color it correctly.

I would have given this more stars because I love Ming-Ju Sun; however, I don't like the pages being front and back. I have to make copies because I usually tear them out of the book for easier access to color. Otherwise I would have given this book five stars.Also the quality of the paper is poor. It's like a newsprint. Not the best for sure

There is a lot of angst and failure to communicate in this story, and both guys need to learn to speak their minds if they want things to work out between them.Recipe of Love - 5 starsThis is another great collaboration between J.P. Oliver and Peter Styles. It's a fantastic enemies to lovers story with a side of steamy mixed in. Mmm Mmm good! Not only do the guys really click, but some parts of the book are downright funny. I like my romance steamy with a dose of humor, and not too angsty, so this story really hit the mark for me.Wedding Bells - 4 starsGreat enemies to lovers story. Matt Collins returns for a wedding to the home town he got away from as fast as he could after being bullied in his youth. Once back, he meets up with his former bullier and secret crush, and sparks fly, but Sebastian has a lot of work to do to make up for the past. I enjoyed the slow burn, and when things heated up, it was smoking! Loved the characters and the story. Peter and J.P. never disappoint.Wash Away - 4 starsI enjoyed this romance story about two men navigating their way to love and creating a new family. There is a moderate level of angst as Joel struggles with grief over his wife’s death and his new role as a single father. Janie was absolutely precious, and she becomes the catalyst to bring her Dad and Nick together, but will Joel overcome his grief and his fear of being used before he drives Nick away? The word that came to mind when I started reading the first volume in this book was: melodramatic. There is something about the way Sam's and Wesley's feelings and experiences are depicted that seem a tad over the top, but, despite saying that, this is a nice story about two MCs who don't think they are worthy of the other and have a problem expressing themselves. Thankfully they have friends to help them along.There are minimal proofreading errors in the first story. Although I did wonder why the Navy would send someone around the world to Wichita and not to one of their own facilities, but then there wouldn't be a story.While I read the first volume in this book, I have not read 2, 3 and 4 yet.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Finding Shore bundle is an amazing and sad group of books that I have been very happy that I got to read them. I think the first story is my favorite Wes and Sam's relationship is a little rocky but I am very glad that Wes Wait's for Sam anyway. I an not an army wife but I believe that waiting for your special someone to come back to you is romantic and I also think it helps some of the people that have to go to war think and breathe a little easier if they know someone is waiting for them. You guys are going to love this bundle and I can't wait to read more of your stories. Keep up the amazing work. Each one of these stories involves a couple basically looking for their happy when they didn't know they hadn't reached it. They go on journeys of self discovery and exploration of opening their hearts and minds to the stranger they meet. Janie is the exception in Wash Away who serves as the catalyst to bringing her dad, Joel and Nick together. Each couple explores their baggage and determines if love is worth setting it down and moving forward to happy. Absolutely delightful! Well done Mr Styles and Mr Oliver! These authors make an awesome romanct team. Well Done! I received this compilation as an ARC for a review.

What a heavenly collection of books. Each book features a different couple and I honestly cannot say that I had a favourite out of the four. The characters through all four books are consistently well-crafted with big personalities and whose emotions were palpable throughout their stories. The romance is beautiful and heartwarming, the chemistry is off the charts hot and stories are beautifully written with bucket loads of emotion and each with its own unique and consuming story line.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am leaving a voluntary review.

Children of Earth and Sky is a book written by a craftsman who has reached a new peak in the mastery of his craft.Guy Gavriel Kay writes, primarily, books based on fictionalized versions of carefully researched historical periods. He tells personal stories of people involved with monumental changes. His stories are often sweet, or more often bittersweet, and only have a touch of the supernatural.Kay has been doing this for decades. The books he was writing 20 years ago were very good. You should read them. But he keeps getting better and better. His craft is now honed to the point of mastery, and Children of Earth and Sky is excellent.The book picks up several decades after the events of Sailing to Sarantium (Sarantine Mosaic, Book 1) and Lord of Emperors: Book Two of the Sarantine Mosaic (Sarantine Mosaic (Paperback)). You certainly won't be lost if you jump straight into Children of Earth and Sky, but there are some treats in this book you might miss out on.The world of the book draws, historically, from the Roman empire several decades after the fall of Constantinople, the city-states of Venice and Dubrovnik, and the Uskoks and their stronghold city of Senj. Building on historical events gives Kay a more richly imagined world than even fantasy's most celebrated world-builders. It also gives him the ability to focus on characters with a depth and understanding that's too often absent in this genre.If you're a Kay fan already, you know this. And all you need to know about Children of Earth and Sky is that it's quite likely Kay's best work yet. On par with the craft on display in River of Stars and Under Heaven, in a more familiar (and I suspect for many fans more loved) setting. If you're not a Kay fan, this is a wonderful place to start. With the fair warning that once you're done, you'll likely be hooked and want to go backwards and read everything the man's even written.

Children of Earth and Sky is a good book, covering a novel period of time & history for Guy Gavriel Kay. I've yet to read something by Kay that is bad (although I felt Ysabel came close to that), but this book just didn't have the 'hook' that Kay's best has. Namely, while in Lions of Al-Rassan, Under Heaven, and River of Stars, I genuinely cared for the principal characters - Kay's writing was so evocative for these characters, and made them so genuine - such that I empathized with the roller coaster ride of being a small component of a very large event; here, I just didn't feel that. Where in Al-Rassan, I was deeply stricken by the death of a minor character, due to the impact on one of the principals, in Children I just wasn't that invested. Typically, the second reading of one of GGK's books really is the one that grabs me, so perhaps a second read in a year or two will make a difference. But as it currently stands, this book is the rank of one of the Sarantium books, for me - although lacking the powerful emotional closure, even, of Lord of Emperors.Having said that - do recognize that because this is a Kay book, it's a more evocative, beautiful, connecting, and intelligent book than most any other you might find in the genres of fantasy or historical fiction.Finally, note that this is not sequel. While set in the Mediterranean region of The Sarantium Mosaic, Lions of Al-Rassan, Song for Arbonne, etc, one does not need to have read any of those for this to be an excellent book, or even an excellent introduction to Kay. However, there are references in this book to the Sarantium books, in particular, that will only be recognized by experienced Kay readers.

sorry to say this book does not rise to the level of Kay's best. Compared to Tigana and Under Heaven it is not in the same league. We are not allowed to know the characters enough to feel much for them. The history is fun and I really like the ongoing religions and other details used in several of his earlier books. Unfortunately a book needs both plot AND characters and this one is heavy on the former and light on the latter. Give me another Under Heaven with well honed people I really knew or Tigana with just as many stories but very much more character growth.

This is a wonderful fantasy novel, rooted in history but set in a world of Guy Gavriel Kay's imagining; a world with two moons, with heroism and honor, brutality and grief and love. It is beautifully, consciously told by a master storyteller. At times it brought me close to tears. The narrative switches between multiple points of view, and, a rarity, my attention was held by each of them. In addition to seeing rulers, military commanders, and senior advisors, we are also shown merchants, footsoldiers, farmers, brigands, sea captains, painters, spies, priestesses. Some of the characters are close to epic heroes (and heroines), being brave and highly skilled warriors. Yet there is a depth in the characters and a compassion toward them that makes them resonate. An excellent book.

What I find most inspiring about this memoir is Ernestine Shepherd's honest and authentic account of herspiritual and emotional transformation, as she embarked upon her career as a body-builder in mid-life.Naturally, her athletic accomplishments are also motivating. The second part of the book contains a workout routine, nutritional advice, and motivating quotes that ES recommends.Yet, while some athletes write books -- from a position of invulnerability-- containing standard exercise and diet advice, Ernestine Shepherd writes about her life with a kind of vulnerability that touches me and shows me how changes in the body (i.e. fitness and athletic accomplishments) start in the spirit, heart, and soul.Openly and vividly she recounts her struggles with depression -- with with its agonizing symptoms -- caused by the loss of her sister Velvet, who was her soul mate and champion. She talks about God's interventions through dreams, music, relationships, and by the holy spirit, which brought her out of despair so that she began to love and trust the goodness of life again.I am quite moved not only by Ernestine Shepherd's stellar accomplishments but also by her honesty and her awe in the face of spiritual mysteries. Her tone and subject matter are not always serious, of course. The book can be fun and entertaining as ES recounts her adventures, and friendships, along the way to her athletic successes.I give this book 4 stars rather than 5 because there are some basic copyediting and proofreading mistakes in the text. In the Kindle version, furthermore, one page seems to be misplaced. The photographs do not come across well, either, in the Kindle format, which is a real loss for the reader.

Funny read! A very inspiring fitness story that, probably, a lot of baby boomers need and haven't or hardly see (because of the age of the author). It was relaxing to read and shows the process that made Ernestine so determined. Her attitude and spirituality are superb and to be emulated. This is by no means a weight-lifting manual but a beginner guide with some beginning exercises from an expert..

I have to say that this book was a pleasant surprise. I actually did read it cover to cover in basically one sitting. Ms. Shepherd is hilarious and a total inspiration for anyone looking to regain lost physical fitness. She is so open and down to earth that it inspires everyone to strive for the best that we can be. Age can no longer be an excuse. I absolutely recommend this book!!! If only there was a 6 star option....

Oh my gosh I woke up today feeling so hopeful. when I started reading Mrs. Shepherds book yesterday I could not stop til I got to the very end and usually I am very distracted when I read. She is such a real inspiration to both women and men approaching "old -er age" I was starting to feel so depressed about getting older and been struggling with all the changes in my own body and started to get into the mind set that life was pretty much over as I knew it but Mrs Shepherd true life story gave me hope. It's so much better than hearing in other books how as you age it becomes a struggle to lose weight and get fit. Mrs Shepherd and her advice in this book is something I will never forget and I believe everyone that reads her story will walk away with much more than before reading it. I shared this book with my husband this morning in hopes he can understand better how excited Iam and why I am carrying on about how I finally found a person who is a real inspiration rather than the women put in magazines and such who pretty much are not "real" . Mrs Shepherd earns her beauty inside and out and not buys it. Any woman over 50 will understand that.

Get up. Get moving. Get fit. Stay young. A prescription for joyous living. Through exercise, weight training, and faith, Ernestine shows us how to rise against depression, inertia, and the perceptions of aging. I can't wait to use her prescription!

A simple book, written from the heart. Common sense and a lot of hard work. Ernestine inspires me. I am 56 this year and know there is hope for me if I am willing to be determined, dedicated, and disciplined. Thank you, Ernestine.

I read this book in one sitting in the middle of the night while everyone slept. Ernestine's journey is a true inspiration. It is one of love, loss, ups, downs... Good book, written in historical order of the kings of Belgium. This focuses on the kings and their immediate family, not much on other Coburg relations. It was a bit tedious until the part about World War I, which I thoroughly enjoyed as it relayed the bravery of the then king, Albert, of whom I had never even heard of. Overall this was a good read and well written and added yet another layer to my knowledge and understanding of European history.

Victoria on PBS gave me inspiration to read this book. It did not disappoint! It gives the reader good information about the Coburgs. Read it!

Thought the book was excellent. When I told a Belgium friend I had read and his first question was were they accurate about the bad part of the family. I told him, yes.

I enjoyed this book and learned some interesting facts about Belgium and the Coburg Dynasty. Theo Aronson is a good author. I wish once gain that photographs were included.

FASCINATING!

Easy to read excellent

Although published in 2015, the book only takes the Coburgs of Belgium from Leopold I (1830-1865) to Leopold III (1934-51) and doesn't include the last three kings (Baldwin, Albert II and Philip I) from 1951 to present. It also has no index. For a history book dealing with dozens of events and characters over nearly 120 years, the lack of an index makes the book useless for continuing study. History books are not like novels -- to be read from cover to cover and put on a shelf. Historical studies are primarily useful as a resource to be read and revisited for further research and study. I will avoid any Theo Aronson books offered for sale in the future.

I really enjoyed this book but I was a little disappointed to discover that it was written in 1968. I wanted to know what happens next, if King Baudouin does have children or not, and who becomes the next King. I had to look on the internet for this. But Theo Aronson is a good writer, and the book reads fast. I was a little annoyed by the French, though. He consistently uses French phrases and sentences without translating and it takes away from the flow. It's why I give it four stars instead of five. Also, it would have been better if some pictures were included.Having read two books already on King Leopold I, I found that I preferred the latter half of the book which focuses on his son Leopold II and his successors. Yet, this is a concise history, so even here Aronson gives only a brief survey and doesn't delve too deeply into the story. I would have liked to read a little more about what was going on in the Congo. But as an overview of Belgian royal history, I found it very good and I would recommend if you are just beginning this subject. I love books on European royalty and this one doesn't disappoint.
